Meeting a stranger
A handover is two people who have never met, exchanging an item and six digits, in a city one of them is visiting. Here is the sensible way to do it.
Meet somewhere public.
A cafe, a mall, a mosque forecourt after prayer. Not a home, not a car park.
Daylight where you can.
If it must be evening, somewhere busy and lit.
Bring someone if you would rather.
Nobody has to meet alone.
Your address is yours.
Wasil never shows it before you accept a bid, and a meet handover never uses one at all — pick a public spot instead.
Check the item before you give the code.
The code is the money.
If something feels wrong, leave.
Do not complete the handover, report it from the deal, and the money stays held while a report is open.
What Wasil does, and what it does not
Wasil holds the money and releases it when the handover is confirmed with your code. That is the part we do. We do not supervise handovers — nobody from Wasil is there with you. We do not verify identity documents; an account is confirmed by email only. You and the other party are known to each other by a display name, a home city, a delivery count and the ratings previous deals have left. Nothing more.
