The agreement between you and Wasil. Plain language on purpose — if something here is unclear, that is our failure, not yours.

What Wasil does
Wasil connects a shopper who wants something from Saudi Arabia with a traveller already flying home to their city. The traveller buys the item, carries it, and hands it over in person.
Wasil is not the seller. We do not stock, inspect, import or ship anything. The traveller buys the item as themselves, from a shop of their choosing.
Money is held, never passed between you
The shopper pays Wasil at the moment they accept a bid. Stripe holds that money. It is released to the traveller only after the shopper gives them a six-digit handover code in person.
We never pass money directly between two users, and we never ask you to. If anyone on Wasil asks you to pay them outside the app, that is a scam — report it.
Wasil's service fee is shown to the shopper before they pay, as its own line. The traveller keeps their delivery fee in full.
Your side of it
Be 18 or over. Use your real name. Do not create more than one account.
Travellers: only accept what you have seen with your own eyes, and only carry what you may legally bring into your destination. You are the person the border speaks to, not us.
Shoppers: ask for things that can lawfully be bought and carried, and give the handover code only to your traveller, only when the items are in your hands.
When something goes wrong
If the item never arrives, or arrives as something other than what was agreed, tell us before you confirm the handover. Money still held can be refunded in full.
Once you give your traveller the handover code, the deal is complete and the traveller is paid. Do not give the code out early.
We can suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will do so without warning where money or safety is involved.
Changes
If we change these terms materially we will ask you to agree again, and we record which version you agreed to and when.
